A FREE DURIAN SESSION

Last night my family and I had a free durian session. We had the free unlimited durian session when I challenged the durian seller that for a free and accurate reading of his palms he will in return give me and my family a free durian treat.
The terms of the conditions is that he must not deny my reading wrong if it is right spot on....
The reading session was carried impromptu by the roadside and last only for ten minutes and we end up with our stomach full of free durian!
Mind you, durians are expensive fruits

It is good to know palmistry!

THE MARK OF THE GOOD PALMIST

How can we tell if the palmist is good or not? It is no point believing in his advertisements or claims for this will just be a good marketing strategy. A good palmist should be known more by his reputation not from the clients he read.

In my opinion if we want to know what makes a good palmist lies in his ability in:
1 Knowing the client's past
2 Predicting his future with accuracy

It is not a good palmist if he already knows who the famous client is. It is just like having Dr Mahathir visited you. Every one knows Mahathir...even idiots without any palmistry knowledge will know from the media about his past

A good palmist should not rely on astrology to aid in his accuracy in predicting. If it be so then he is not a true palmist but an astrologer or an astropalmist.

A good palmist should be able to tell a lot about the person by just reading his palm print! Of course seeing the client as a person will be more accurate

A good palmist is one whose reputation goes by the word of the mouth. Or if the client came back to see him after many years to thank him of his predictions

LEFT OR RIGHT? RIGHT OR WRONG?

(PICTURE TAKEN FROM WWW.FLICKR.COM)
One of the big issues in palmistry readings is to decide whether to read the right hand or left hand. There are two school of thoughts on these matters:
1 The first school proposed that always read the right hand id the person is right handed and left hand if the person is left handed
2 The second school proposed that for ladies you read the left hand and for men you read the right hand

In my opinion the first school is more accurate and has always been the rule which I used.

In my view the dominant hand which is right hand for right hander should be referred to. Under such situations the left hand represent what you have been given by God and show your inherent characteristics or fate. The right hand is the outcome of whether you have changed your given fate for better or worst. Right hand is therefore the manifestations and how the world sees you.

In palm reading it is proper to study both the right and left hands and see if there are major changes in particular lines of the palm. Spent some time studying the differences as it will add to the accuracy of the readings as whether the person fate is better or worst. A good example is that in the left hand he is shown as intrinsically shy but in the right hand he has shown he has overcome his shyness

This comparisons of both hand will give enrichment to the quality of your palm readings

It is important to point that if the pattern of lines are identical for both hands then we can conclude that the fate of the ckient is sealed

..I SWEAR TO TELL THE TRUTH...?

Sometimes telling the truth hurts. This is the predicament faced by the palmist when reading a client's palm. Would you tell your client you saw the mark of death in his hands or that he will have a short life or his marriage will fail?

We must consider the psychological and emotional consequence of the client if we were to tell these unhappy events. Further in palmistry everything is about prediction and just like a doctor's diagnosis there is a possibility the reading might be wrong. Ultimately its GOD that will decide..

In my opinion it is better not to tell the real truth but rather advise the client to take extra care of his health or whatever and always to pray to God for blessings

Personally I have come to hear of many cases where inexperienced or charlatan palmists misdiagnosing the client of an impending disaster and to have the client suffered years and years of hell believing the event will be coming true....only to find later its not happening as predicted.

Palmists should take extra caution or great pain before stating such reading and think of the consequences

PLEASE!!! NOT IN FRONT OF YOUR SPOUSE!

(PICTURE TAKEN FROM WWW.SNARKYGOSSIP.COM)

Having a consultation with a professional palmist is the same as going to see your doctor or lawyer. There is a very high degree of trust and confidentiality in information between the client and you. And it is most sacred to upheld that trustand not to release in public any data given.

As humans each one of us must have their past or skeletons in the cupboard. Be it also that there are future skeletons in the cupboard. It would be a disaster if palm readings for a client and his or her dark secrets be known by their spouses. It might lead to distrusts and even broken relationships

I have personally experienced this quandary due to the client insisting he has no secrets to hide but at the end of the day dirty linens are hung in public leading to arguments and broken marriages.

It is recommended that in any readings be carried out in privacy and free from the knowledge of the spouses unless they are willing to take the risks of their misdeeds being known

THE RIGHT WAY TO WIN YOUR CLIENT'S CONFIDENCE

(PICTURE TAKEN FROM WWW.ADAMKNIGHT.CO.UK)

The first few minutes of palm reading could be the 'make or break' impressions for the palmist. If the palmist can 'predict with accuracy' in the first few minutes, the client will believe in him. So be sure nothing goes wrong in the first few minutes of reading...

So it is of utmost importance that we start the reading with a 'big bang!' and win over the client. You got to be sure what you will say will be right and accurate. The way to do this is to scan the hand for a few minutes before commenting. Find the most crucial or pivotal moments which the client had faced in the past. Do not talk about the clients future as yet. Win him over so that you will enjoy the respect, admiration and $$$$ being paid to you.

EVERY LINE IS A JOURNEY TRAVELLED WITH ITS BEGINNING AND ENDINGS

The lines are the barometer of the person progress as he goes through the various phases of his life, through happiness, pain, success, failures and obstacles among others. Each line is like a definite 'rail track' which have its beginnings and endings.

The only significant difference between the real rail track is that we are provided various lines or 'rail tracks' to indicate our general existence. These lines bear testimony or record of what we went through in the past and what we will be facing in the future

To complicate things further these lines come from and cross various mountains and plains and that more than often these lines cross each other bringing more meanings to the course of events affecting our lives.

Although we can basically divide lines into vertical lines like life line, fate line and sun line, there are lateral lines represented by heart and head line. As for the vertical lines, it is easy to say where the lines start and ends, but for lateral lines the starting and ending depends on the respective lines

As I have said earlier there is the start and ending for each lines so that we have the wisdom to determine the date of event in the past and those that are yet to come. However, dividing the lines into its segmental divisions could be the problems among many palmists or schools of palmistry. Many palmists seem to have their own methods of calibrating the time events on the various lines. How accurate the use of different methods will only be known by clients who have their palms read

There are however slight exceptions in the above discussions. A good examples is in the union or affection lines. The event of the happening is determined by the point where the line appeared on the percussion. The length of line of the union line just indicate the overall length of the relationship. We cannot really see where the line starts or end

LEARNING PALMISTRY IS EASY AND FUN!

I have often wonder why most people trying to learn palmistry easily get fed up or failed to acquire the knowledge. Most of these palmists 'wannabes' either want the easy way out or get quick result, or they are disappointed by the failure to get the correct reading when they try to apply what ever little they just learned from the book or friends

Most should realize that learning palmistry is just like learning any other subject. Ine have to start from beginning and acquire the basic foundation before jumping to the exciting clinical part of palmistry. Of course with any effective learning one must pass through a systematic way of learning the whole of palmistry. Even physicians in the early stages of learning got to learn the basic and often non excoting part of medicine such as the preclinical subjects. These basic subjects will provide you the future foundation of your knowledge in palmistry and how you will learn to read the clues that will give you the perfect reading.

I have often laugh with the ' impatience ' of budding palmists who want to go straight reading the lines of the hand but in the immediate result of getting erroneous readings. hehehe

Then there are those who tried to learn palmistry by trying to memorise each case or palm drawing. They will easily tire themselves and get disappointed. The problem is there is no point of memorising each palmistry case as in most situations each palm reading is different and do not follow rigidly the textbook image. Also the tendency of the books in palmistry is often giving to brief a picture of the event without really explaining how they reach the conclusions. In good palmistry readings an important event are often showed to occur within a few lines of the hand

It is always better to learn palmistry under a guru just as medical students learn from their teachers and supported by the reference books and notes

One of the biggest hurdle most students faced in trying to memorise palmistry is their method of rote learning all the properties of mountains and lines. One of the best and easiest method is to treat every mountain in the hand as a person. If we regard jupiter as a man we see all his characteristics and easy to associate with the mountain. Then we see Saturn as a very old serious and grumpy old man who likes to live alone.Put in a bit of imagination...add cartoon characters to represent the mountain.Try it...its fun and soon you will be a palmist

WHY I LIKE PALMISTRY?

In terms of convenience and accuracy, I still think palmistry is the best of all the fortune telling methods. Having a knowledge of palmistry means that one can move anywhere and meet any clients without having to be burdened by paraphernalia of fortune telling equipments such as Raphael's almanac, horoscope calculations, tarot cards and crystal balls. All you have to do is just bring yourself. And you can become a fortune teller just about any where be it in cafes, trains or even in offices at impromptu sessions

Palmistry to me is so scientific and methodological. Readings of palms is just another clinical examinations with all the clues being given by the mounts and lines in the hands. The lines are just simple graphs which you interpret as a function of distance to reflect time of event. Nothing could be nicer or easier.

One of the other aspect of palmistry which I liked is that by touching or holding your client's hand we establish a physical and emotional connection allowing that personal touch between two persons. This is ideal in feeling or communicating the various vibrations from which a good palmist will read and interpret.

Reading hands is not about being popular or the excuse to touch a girl's hand. These aspects should be dispelled if one wants to be a good palmist and a professional one. One could never be a good palmist or have a good reputation as a palmist if the ulterior motives as stated above are exploited

MY JOURNEY INTO PALMISTRY

My interest into palmistry started when I was about 14 years old, and 40 years later I am still interested in palmistry. My interest in palmistry was triggered by a small column in the local daily which featured the predictive part of palmistry.

In the beginning of my journey as an amateur palmist or as a hobby, I found out that I was making more mistakes in reading palms than getting the accurate readings. Things began to change a few years later when I had an eerie and prophetic dream. That became the changing point in my life as reading palmistry becomes more instinctive and accurate.

After the eerie dream I developed a fever or was sick for about three days. It doesn't bother me then, as I thought the fever has no connection with the dream. Maybe it was just a simple cold or a flu.

Then as time passes by I gradually realised the change that is occurring within me. I began to give very accurate palmistry readings and I no longer need a palmistry books to study or refer to. By just observing and touching the client's hand I can see or feel what he or she feels or suffering. The mouth just utter the prediction even without bothering to read the hand properly.
And this changes get stronger as I grow older........

WHAT IS PALMISTRY TO ME?

Palmistry may be an interesting hobby or a passing interest to some. It may be a profitable pastime to some. It may even be an "excuse" for horny men to be popular or to touch the girl or hold her hands!

To me palmistry is more than the above. It is the "message" from the God or heaven giving guidance for normal human beings ( If only they realize!)

My hypothesis is simple derived from my simple philosophical outlook and from my inner feelings. First, there is a close relationship between astrology and palmistry. This field is often combine by popular palmists to gain more information and knowledge about the client. This combination of palmistry and astrology is often referred to as ASTROPALMISTRY

What ever is dictated by the stars in heaven is identically shown in the palms by all the mountains, plains and lines in the palm. But the best part is that if you are a good and excellent palmists you need not carry all the astrology almanacs and time spent to cast and predict the horoscope. You need nothing...its all provided in the palms and you can read palms conveniently anywhere as long there is a light source to see the palm!

After decades of studying and reading palmistry and all the experience I had I realized that the palm is getting more and more interesting! I do not see the events experienced by the clients! I do not see his romantic affairs and illicit flings! I do not see his high blood pressure or his cholesterol values. Neither do I see the clients fatal car accident nor his tons of money or his bereavements. All I see in his palms are lines, plains and mountains that I read and interprete!

Looking at the hand is not only looking at the client's life past , present and future. I see geography or landscape of his life and how he goes through his journey and where it will lead..

SECTORS IN THE PALM

We can divide the palm by its geometry into a few main parts

LEFT AND RIGHT HALVES
-----------------------------
We can divide the palm into left and right parts based on an imaginary line ( or sometimes by a very straight fate line. The section closed to the thumb and the section close to the percussion or small finger.

The section closet to the thumb covers the mount of Venus side and represent the influence from within such as family, relatives, while the section ob the percussion side reflect the influence of outsiders such as friends, governments and other people or overseas

So the client's life is in the centre striking the net influence of insiders and outsiders.

TOP HALF BOTTOM HALVES
---------------------------
Roughly if we divide the palm by a horizontal line midway, we can see two parts; the top half and the bottom half. The bottom half which covers the mount of Venus and the moon constitute our physical strength and earthly self. The top half reflect the mental side or the ambition side in the leadership, seriousness, success and business and scientific attitude.

PRELIMINARY STEPS BEFORE READING THE PALM

Throughout my experience as a Palmist, I have found out the following steps taken before the commencement of a palmistry reading very productive and help in making the most correct readings of the client

1 BE AT PEACE AND AT SOME SORT OF SELF MEDITATION
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Learn to relax, contemplate and have a peace of mind so that not only you will give your full concentration but it will activate your sub conscious and sixth sense. Do not read palms if you are not in the mood, for you will not give your best and your readings will be prone to error

2 PUT YOUR CLIENT IN A RELAX MOOD AND MAKE HIM COMFORTABLE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is no rush in trying to read your client's palms. He is as nervous as you are at what the readings will unfold. Take the time to reassure him and at the same time for you to make preliminary body language observations and facial readings. At the same time you will be absorbing his personality and observations and start forming some preliminary analyses that will be used later in aiding your palmistry readings and making it more accurate

3 HOLD HIS HANDS
------------------------
Ask his permission first as you talk to him to hold his hands as you talk about general things but not palmistry. I personally find this physical contact help me to connect with him and establish empathy relationship with him. I will feel his vibrations and his feelings. You will know then the right time to start reading as you feel you have established "contact" with him

4 STUDY BOTH HANDS
------------------------

Do not attempt to make any readings first. Just study his hands and see any similarities between his left or right hand. See which are the major lines that are really significant in both hands. As these major lines are the ones that will be affecting him in the strongest ways

5 CALIBRATE TIME ON THE MAIN LINES
-------------------------------------------------

See for the main events or "upheavals" in his life and ask him when the events occur. Using this data you begin by calibrating time on all his lines

LEFT VERSUS RIGHT
----------------------

One of the main preliminary steps taken before reading the palm is to compare the similarity and differences between the left palm and the right palm. In practice , for right handed individual the left palm represents what God has given to the person. In the right palm is what the person has made out of what god has given him. For a left handed person the situation is reversed.

The right hand side therefore represent how the events have really manifested. If both palms are identical or similar, the events will happened without change. If there is a change then the person have made changes to the original plan

DOMINANT MAIN LINES
--------------------------
These are the lines which are etched so strongly and its aspects will influence the individual powerfully. If the heart line is the strongest than emotional matters of the heart and feelings will significantly affect his life. If its the career or fate line, then his career or how he progresses in life will be significant in influence

MOUNTAINS IN THE PALM

Sometimes when we are in the process of learning palmistry, we are to obsessed or impatient to start doing the 'clinical' part of palmistry and start memorizing and memorizing lines and to start reading and predicting. In most cases, following this attempt will frequently end up in failures and rapid loss of interest to study palmistry.

Palmistry is more than just reading lines and prediction. A good palmist will have to go through years and years of failures and studying until we gain enough experience to become a good palmist

One of the least popular aspects of palmistry is studying the significance of the various mountains present in the palm. The mountains and its characteristics provide various clues to the prediction of the client's palmistry. It gives the underlying reason for the events and provide the richness to the predicting of the client's past, present and future

THE MOUNTAINS- BASIC LESSONS IN GEOGRAPHY
-------------------------------------------------------
Just as in geography, mountains in palmistry are significant mounds or pads which occur at different sites on the palm . The naming of the various mountains is the result of the integration of astrology into palmistry, thus the named after the various planets. The planets on the other hand are named after the various gods in Greek mythology

The mountains occur and take their names under the fingers they reside:
1 Mount Jupiter under Jupiter finger ( First finger)
2 Mount Saturn under Saturn finger ( Second finger)
3 Mount Apollo under Apollo finger ( Third finger)
4 Mount Mercury under Mercury finger ( Fourth finger)

There are other mountains such as:
5 Mount Upper Lower Mars
6 Mount of Venus under the thumb
7 Mount of the Moon on the percussion

MOUNTAINS ARE ENERGY
-----------------------------
Mountains represent energy or drive that will affect the person. If any lines cross or ends or starts from the particular mountain then the properties of the mountain will influence him. So its important to study the significance of the mountains and what it represent. Mountains are energy.

THE STRENGTH OF MOUNTAINS
--------------------------------

Try not memorizing the detail meanings and significance of each mountains but think more as the character each mountains as the person. Then it will be simpler to understand and remember what the mountain is all about. Think about the various mountains as the various gods in Greek Mythology and not as planets named after the gods.

The strength or the values of the mountains depend on whether it is over developed, well developed or underdeveloped. Over development will give excessive values to the traits of the mountain. Lack of development will normally show as lacking or opposite to the characters of the mountains

JUPITER
----------
The mountain under the first finger is called Mount Jupiter named after the Greek god, Jupiter. Jupiter represents power, authority, leadership, and organization. These are positive values if properly indicated

SATURN
-----------
Saturn has always been pictured as a picture of seriousness, aloof, isolation coldness

APOLLO
----------
Is the Sun god full of warmth, brightness and represents self-confidence, kindness and grandeur.

MERCURY
------------
When we imagine Mercury as the god we see speed, communications and it represents materialistic prosperity and affluence.

MOON
---------
The moon has always represents imagination, beauty and emotions.

VENUS
---------
Love, enjoyment, beauty and feminine values

MARS
--------
Mars is the god of War and battles and it represents war. courageous, fearless and frank.

DETERMINING TIME OF EVENT IN PALMISTRY

One of the most important facets in palm reading besides knowing the occurrence of an event is determining the exact or approximate time of the event. Did it occur in the past at what age of the client? When will the future event occur in the client's life. Knowing how to determine the time of the event both in the past and future will help increase the professionalism of the palmist and his reputation among his clients. Determining the time of the event gives the palmistry a predictive or prophetic value

If we look at a few of the popular palmistry test books or reference books we can see there seems to be no universal agreement among the palmists. It seems every palmist has his own method of determining time. Only the client will know if the method is accurate or not!

The complication of determining the time of event in the hand is made complexed by a few factors such as:

1 Different people have different hand size
2 Some have different life spans
3 Some have smaller shorter lines, some have longer lines
4 Different lines might show different scales of time determinations. For example in most lines, the division of time is evenly spaced, but in the case of the fate line, the division of times are wider below 35 years or below the headline, but compressed divisions above 50 years or above the heart line.

In the author-s experience the most accurate way of deter ming the timing of the events on the various lines is by calibrating the line in terms of two separate significant events which the client has encountered. Once the calibration has been determined it is much easier to calibrate the various lines both for past and future events.

The calibration of time on the lines should be done at the early stage of palm reading and with the cooperation of the client for better accuracy.

In the author's personal experience of time determination in palmistry is the one expounded by Comte de St Germain in his book " Palmistry for professionals"

THE LINES IN PALMISTRY

The lines in the palm represent the most popular component in any study of palmistry. The study of the shape of hands and fingers and mountains of the palm are often relegated to lesser importance. As much as lines in palmistry are very important it must be mentioned that the other aspects of palmistry are important too in order to give accurate and meaningful readings in palmistry.

In studying the lines of the palm, the traditional approach is to classify the lines into major and minor lines. While the study of the main lines are important, it is the study of the minor or tiny lines that add colour to any readings of the palm. These tiny lines contribute to the complex of the readings and giving the finer picture of the situation

Throughout my observations the lines can be divided into the following:
1 Major lines such as fate line, heart line, life line and head line
2 Minor lines such as sub line, affection line
3 Interference lines or influence lines
4 Sub minor lines which are traces and are often difficult to detect

In superficially glancing at the palm we will first study which among the major lines are more intense as it will be the aspects of the lines that will control the subject more than the other major lines

What makes a palmistry reading more exciting is when the interference lines appeared as dominant lines in intensity. This will show how such minor events can influence the subject drastically.

READING THE LINES

A good palmist does not hastily makes a conclusion by just reading one observation on one line. He will study various lines and to look for further 'supporting evidences' of the particular event at some other lines and clues from the various mountains.

For example, if he sees a divorce or a separation in the marriage, he will try to see the event recorded in the various other lines such as the fate line. heart line and even lines of influence from the mount of Venus.

Reading the lines to determine the cause and effects of the event is similar to like doing a good piece of detective work and putting a;; the pieces together to form the proper picture.

The main factor that unite all the factors that lead to the confirmation and description of the event lies in knowing the exact time of the event. By looking at all the pertinent lines at the time of the event will give the palmist the details of the analyses and accuracy

DOING PALMISTRY RESEARCH

If you already have sufficient knowledge in palmistry, the best way of learning advance palmistry is in fact by studying your own palms everyday. This is most suitable if you are at least forty years old where you can look at your past events that occurred in your life with the hindsight advantage. Of course, it could not be seen as predictive palmistry but it is most valuable in:

1 Confirming past events in your life with the markings on your palms
2 To gain expertise in time calibration of events that has occurred. This method will be useful for all your future consultations
3 To study the changes in lines especially with respect to formation and disappearance of lines

I have personally find this method most effective in making you a proffesional palm reader. Readings from books could not replace your own 'Hands On experience'
